Heavy snowfall hampers flight and cargo operations |
December 21, 2009
Dear Customer,
Heavy snowfall, mostly in Europe and North America, impacts the flight schedules and cargo operations to and from our hubs at Schiphol and Charles de Gaulle. Due to the weather conditions a number of European and intercontinental flights have been cancelled or delayed. Also road transportation within Europe is hampered by the weather conditions. Shipments that can not be transported, will be rebooked on available flights as soon as possible.
We will do our utmost to transport all cargo to its final destination as soon as possible. Based on weather forecasts we expect this situation to last until after Christmas. For flight specific information regarding your shipment, please contact your local Customer Service Office.
Trusting to have informed you sufficiently, we kindly ask your understanding for this inconvenience.
Sincerely yours,
Air France-KLM Cargo Management
